    Posts, footings and framing first, then boards, railings and gates. The site is cleaned up at the end of each day.

Do I need a permit to build a deck?
In most GTA cities a building permit is needed once a deck is more than about 60 cm (2 feet) above the ground. Mississauga, for example, requires one for decks higher than 0.61 m. Zoning rules like setbacks still apply to lower decks. We check the rules for your address before we quote.
How tall can my fence be?
It depends on the city and which yard the fence is in. Front yard fences are usually kept low, and rear and side yard fences are often capped around 2 m. Each city page on this site lists the local limits, and we confirm them for your property.
Composite or wood: which deck is better?
Composite costs more up front but needs no staining and far less upkeep. Pressure-treated wood costs less to build and needs sealing every few years. Cedar sits in between and looks great, but still needs regular care. We price both so you can compare.
Do you build fences for commercial properties?
Yes. We install chain link, security and privacy fencing for commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties, and work with property managers and condo boards.
